Attraction - Keshav's EP Launch14/3/2022  And the beat goes on…father to son and son to the universe. Trinidadian, savant producer, Keshav, jump-kicked his much-anticipated EP, Attraction, with his live band on March 12th 2022 at the Dalai Llama, One Wood brook Place, Port of Spain Trinidad, West Indies. The event and artist management team lead by Simon White produced a show that was inspiring, well organized and above all kept it simple. White’s open-air event – within Dalai Llama’s Safe Zone - offered up an ambience that kept patrons wanting more. It’s the Caribbean, this is what is done - open air events rule year round and Keshav’s team did just that. Keshav's live band comprised of close friends - Jon Otway and Tamo Musique.  “…X amount, ounce for ounce, pound for pound…” Track 3 - SWING is lyrically explosive with elusive electric guitars and the seductive vocal registers imprints the performer unto the minds of all listeners. Simon White’s incorporation of Keshav’s father, Chan into the performance, showcased the producer’s percussive roots. Playing a Djembe drum to the sounds of Tiefhead (Andy Himself & Channel 13), Chan and Keshav percussively exploded unto the stage, a few moments later accompanied by Rhys Thompson.  Keshav delivers 4 music tracks that stand on its own. Multi genre yet with the common elements of drum, bass and the ever so present 80’s synth tones and rifts.
Love Track 4! “Come My Way” was encored at the release, a mighty depiction with undeniable elements of the Andre Tanker era - introduced within an Afro pop consciousness - innate to the Caribbean diaspora. Keshav’s unique ability to switch roles between performer and producer sets him a part from many within the Soca industry and sets him up with the likes of Kernel Roberts and Machel Montano. The producer, performer “southpaws” into each new track offering up riveting elements of drum and bass. Released on Keshav’s Heavy Drumz Label this EP typifies the character sound and savant production style that moves this energetic musician.
